Hi, I am Khondaker Zahin Fuad, but you can just call me Zahin.
I have been an avid reader for as long as I can remember. Over the years I have probably read hundreds of books since I was 5 years old, both fiction and non-fiction. However, I have never documented them properly or applied them to my life as I should. That’s why I started this blog – Zahin Reads – to finally start writing down my thoughts regarding the books I read, both for myself and others.
I read 90% of my books on my phone (hence glasses since I was 11 years old!), and for the past decade, my app of choice has been Moon+ Reader.
Here are some stats from the last few years of my reading on my phone via Moon+ Reader (2019 – Present):
- Books Read: 215
- Reading Hours: 1268.2 (as of 5 Dec 2025)
- Read Words Per Minute: 142
- Turn Pages: 185768
- Reading Time (in sec) Per Page: 24
- Turn Pages Per Hour: 146
- Reading Hours Per Day: 0.7
So yeah, not trying to brag, but set the scene about my reading habits, and complete lack of documentation.
My goal with this blog is to document my thoughts as I read (first in my notes app, then a polished post here) and eventually (fingers crossed!) build up to my own book.
That’s it for now, feel free to read some of my posts and leave any comments you may have! It will help me get better at expressing my thoughts and hopefully take me from “reader” to “writer”.
